Students and staff at Oakmere were very excited to witness the first solar eclipse since 1999 this morning.
A solar eclipse happens when the moon blocks the sight of the sun from certain places in the world. Today’s eclipse could be viewed from the UK and Northern parts of Europe and the next time we get one here will not be until 2090.
