The chill n fill cafe at Oakmere College has restarted its restaurant themed days. Today’s theme was Chinese and a three course meal was served to both students and staff. The menu consisted of:
Chicken & Sweetcorn soup
Egg Foo Young
Vegetable Chow Mein
Salt & Pepper Chips
Restaurant days give catering students the opportunity to gain invaluable experience of waiting on and front of house duties. They can also take on the role of chef giving them experience above and beyond the requirements of their qualifications.
