At Oakmere Community College, we're passionate
about helping young people realise their potential.
It's an enormous challenge - we serve a community
comprising some of the most deprived wards in the
country. Yet our brief is straightforward; to widen
access to learning opportunities for the disadvantaged
young people of Merseyside - to open doors for them.
We see these young people as our future. We
continually work with partners, stakeholders and other
support agencies to provide high quality learning
opportunities relevant to the real world. We recognise
that classroom based learning doesn't suit everyone,
so our learning opportunities are activity based.
