Underpinning all our strategies are the twin goals of economic prosperity and social justice. These goals are at the heart of Oakmere and form the foundations for our Aim and Mission.
Merseyside remains an area facing enormous challenges. Oakmere serves a community made up from some of the most deprived wards in the country. We aim to help address local disparities by widening access to learning opportunities and encouraging local people to achieve their potential.
Aim:
To reduce the number of people who are not, or who are at risk not being, in Education, Employment or Training by engaging with disadvantaged groups to assist progression whilst maintaining organisational growth.
Mission:
To serve the disadvantaged communities of Merseyside by enabling people to achieve their potential principally through the provision of personal support and employability skills to enable onward progression.
