We aim to do much more than teach our students vocational skills. We want our students to succeed and because of this we reward hard work.
But it's not all about hard work, we have fun too! We hold ceremonies to celebrate student achievements, and organise a range of enrichment activities such as paintball, go-karting, 5-a-side football and outward bound courses.
Other activities include employability training, money management, first aid, food hygiene and healthy eating. We also provide a counselling service in partnership with the Young Persons Advisory Service.
The whole atmosphere at Oakmere is warm, caring and respectful towards our students. We promote a can-do-attitude and offer practical and emotional support where needed.
